After 7 months of having the Samsung S2 on contract, the screen just stops working - no water damage, no dropping it or anything, just blanks out. Sent it to Eastgate to book into a repair.

After no contact for 3 weeks, I get an sms today that they will not fix it, it has out of warranty and I need to pay R1100 for it, and a consultant will call me. Consultants never call from 8ta when they say sms they will.

I phoned the call center - I probably phoned a total of 6 times. After pressing which option you want, they cut you off. When you finally get through to someone and explain yourissue, they transfer you and you get cut off. When you phone back and get transferred successfully, you are told the line is bad they will phone you back, and they cut you off, without calling back. Eventually you phone again, get hold ofsomeone who tells you that nobody can help you, go to a store or phone another number. You take the number down excactly as they giveit and it ends up being a Cape Town based marketing company.

Where do I go from here to find out why warranty is not covering what is obviously a quality issue?
