I was contacted by a sales person from Rewards Co. with regards to a data bundle deal. After listening to this deal I enquired if this data bundle would be usable with my current mobile phone and the sales person ensured me that it will. I then went ahead and cancelled my (then) current data bundle subscription.
After a while I realised that Vodacom was charging me standard rates for data even though I was paying for this bundle. I have requested that they investigate this incident. Vodacom ensured me that they will investigate, and if I want to know more I should contact Rewards Co.
So far I have heard nothing form either Vodacom OR Rewards Co except when I contact them myself. Contacting Rewards Co. takes ages, I have been on hold on the telephone now for almost one hour, and when I do they just keep on ensuring me that they will look into the matter. It has been a month and no progress has been made.
I would like the investigation to be completed for possible refunds of the data bundle service as well as refunding me for standard data rates charged unnecessarily.
