Call Limit not applicable when Roaming

I recently returned from a trip to France, while overseas I logged onto the vodacom4me website in order to create a call limit lock. The website I was pointed was a mobi site.

I set a call limit lock of R2000.00, On return I logged in and found that my current bill is now at close on R3500.

After several calls to 082111 I was told that the terms of conditions state, "Call/Data Limits are also not implemented while roaming outside of South Africa due to the time delays in billing records". I would like to contest this statement as this can result in a Vodacom customer like myself being exploited with exorbitant costs due to international roaming. At the same time I agree with the part of billing being delayed as per your terms and conditions, but surely your billing engine, once it refreshes, should realize that I have exceeded my call limit set and at that point block my phone and send me an SMS stating I should contact my service provider to unlock my phone if required.?

I am happy to explain my situation to anyone who is willing to listen?
