I opened a new contract towards the end of March for a Samsung tablet. For 2 weeks a connection problem. When I returned to the branch they did 2 sim swops but told me only about one. I then was connected to the network. From the very first moment I had strange incomming calls and sms from people I do not know. WEhen I inquired they said it was normal and will stop. It did not and my first bill was for about R7000. of outgoing calls from my tablet. It is not possible as I have a seperate contract for a cell phone. Tablet was for solely date use.
From the beginning the branch the call centres my faxes e mails and a legal letter from my lawyer have never been followed up by management as was my request, only sterio tipe pre programmed responses by sms and e mails. Now all I recieve is final demands for payment..I was also told by the them to contact the police to open investigation section 205 request, turned down by 2 prosecuters... and on and on. Beware Sim Card?!!!
