Contract Cancellation

Good day,

I was contacted by a MTN sales agent/representative to do an upgrade. During the call I asked the agent if this was the best package on offer at the time and he indicated that it was. This was a recorded conversation. I then promptly agreed to the upgrade.
Later that evening I noticed a better package and contacted the call center to cancel the upgrade. The call center indicated that they would escalate it to the agent who did the upgrade to action the cancellation.
A week later the cancellation had still not been action-ed. I then went to the N1 City MTN Store in Cape Town and spoke to a gentleman called Anele who upon contacting your call center was given Ref# 101839473 and promised that the query would be escalated to cancel the upgrade. This did not happen. Two weeks later I went back to the store to ask for a status update. I then spoke to LeeRoy Minaar who escalated the query with REQ # 2410775. Mr Minaar contacted me once via sms to indicate that the query had been escalated. This was a week ago and still the upgrade has not been cancelled. Could someone with authority please assist as the incompetence displayed by your staff is highly embarrassing.
