On 1 July 2013 I booked my Blackberry Bold 9900 at Vodacomworld Midrand and reported a fault that whenever I switch on Bluetooth my cell phone freezes, whilst all other functions and applications operate without any fault.
The service consultant showed me a sticker on the phone that is normal and has turned red and stated that the phone has liquid damage; however; it is still under warranty and would be booked for repairs.
I insisted that my phone has not come into contact with any liquid, she then said it could sweat from hands or moisture, but she booking the phone in and I have feedback within 7 days' time. She gave me my battery and phone back cover to keep.
I was then quoted an amount of above R700 which I accepted, when I received the phone it would not switch on, it was then booked it again and again only to return unfixed. All I want is the phone to be returned operational as handed in, up to now Vodacom keeps returning the phone worse than it was handed in.
This is a very poor service from Vodacom.
