I have been attempting to activate a BlockCall Plus on a Telkom landline from a remote location. We have been paying monthly for this service for a number of years, but unblocked the line in December last year so that national & cellular calls may be made. Please note that we continued paying for the service. We forgot to reactivate the BlockCall Plus in January and now wish to do so in order to block national and cellular calls. The number advertised in the telephone directory and online is 101551. I cannot dial this number - I get a "your call cannot be completed as dialled". Your enquiry staff have no idea how to solve this problem so that I can reactivate our service.
May I note that I experienced this problem when I deactivated blocking last year but eventually found a staff member who was able to put me through to the remote service.
Please could someone from Telkom call me and advise how I may successfully activate a SERVICE THAT WE ARE PAYING FOR!!! I have only provided a mobile number in this complaint and will give relevant landline numbers to the Telkom agent calling me.
