Extortionate Bills

My monthly Vodacom account is around R900.00 / R1000.00. For two months, end March and end April the bills were R3600 and R2500 respectively (approx figures). But then back to normal for the end of May & June. I have made enquiries in which they sent me my data usage - and its an impossible amount. Surely that amount of data will have caused my poor phone's brain to crash? There is NO way I can prove I didn't use the data, dispite the fact that my phone is almost permanently on wifi (at home and at work). My cellphone usage habits have NOT CHANGED in the entire time that I have had this phone (almost 2 years). Yes, I do receive work emails etc to the phone but it has been the same amount for the past two years as well. I'm pretty angry as I have had my Vodacom account since 1998 and had several phones, macbooks, ipads and imacs on the account - and would continue to upgrade these - but now... PROBABLY NOT!!!
Who can I speak to about this - I feel that I am R3500 out of pocket in two months?!!
