Received a bill for R4700 when previous 11 months was R338. Have tried for a month to get details, to no avail. Have been told that if I do not pay, my phone will be suspended. The phone is used by my partner. Have stopped her from using the phone as I* have no idea what caused the sudden spike. Only notification I've got is to say a credit of R2300 was passed. The bill is outrageous. Have been twice to their head office at Century City, sent 11 mails and made 14 calls to MTN and am no nearer a solution. Have another contract for business purposes and spend R1800 per month at MTN. Am now forced to cancel my contracts and change my bank account because I pay by debit order. Was totally misrepresented by MTN when I took out the contract.
