For the last couple years I have noticed a massive drop in the Vodacom cellular service, I live in Greentstonehill, eastern suburbs of Johannesburg and yesterday I was amazed at the amount of times I dropped calls in space of 5 kilometres, I peaked at 4 drops, an average of one call drop per 1.25 kilometres, I have called and logged calls, normal b.s supplied, restart your phone and so on, best is I get a text annually saying we are upgrading the network infrastructure in your area, I would say downgrading if anything. Obviously very frustrated I had a chat with my mates who live in the area, they all agree, Vodacom's service is getting worse... how is this possible you may ask, have a read about there data sales, increasing every day, I don't see any extra work being done to cater for that increase load on an already overloaded network.
