Poor service from Vodacom

I've been a loyal customer of Vodacom for the last 19 years.

Four years ago, I complained about the poor reception in my area and I was promised that Vodacom will do something about my problem. At the time, a person from the network division called me to inform me that they have a plan to upgrade the service in this area and they will keep me posted. This has not happened.

I've raised the issued time and again, only to be told that there is a congestion problem in the area and that I will be contacted by someone in the network division, which just doesn't happen, let alone to fix the problem.

It has now become worse, I can only connect to the internet for less than 5 min and then I cannot do any transactions. People (even Vodacom!!!) regularly complain that they cannot reach me and my calls are dropped regularly.

My emails to them are just ignored with not even the cutesy of a reply.

All I read is the massive profits Vodacom makes, but at this rate, they will be haemorrhaging customers at an extreme rate or else they simply don't care.

Loyalty can only take you so far and frankly, I'm now fed up with their shoddy service.
