I recently took out two phone contracts at 8ta. The new Blackberry Z10 for my fiance and myself. We applied the 10th July 2013. I was assisted by a very nice lady Kim Weeder, who was outstanding. The process took a bit longer then expected, but that's fine. We got our phones the Friday as I was leaving to Durban the Monday, . My fiance's phone worked perfectly, but mine was not working for last 5 days. I asked them so nicely to get my network sorted as I ported to 8ta from Vodacom. I was forced to walk around with 3 phones. One that was not of use to me at all. I was on the phone and website chats with Vodacom and 8ta. The one telling me it's other carries responsibility to release the port auth blah blah, back and forth. Well I have had it with both networks!!! I told Janine at Telkom Direct Long Beach Mall, that if it does not work I will cancel my contracts as it does not work. She offered me a prepaid sim, but I have to purchase airtime and data with my own money. Are you guys ridiculous??? Its your fault and I am still without a working phone, I am coming back home tomorrow. I expect someone to contact me regarding this and fix it or cancel my contract.
