I wanted to take up the new and attractive offer of buying a sim card for use in France from Orange here in South Africa before going to France next week. The website indicated that the product ships from UK and I therefore decided to take the option of going to buy it from the Nashua Mobile shop as indicated on the web site in Canal Walk.
On arrival I am told I need my Passport to do the transaction... I go home under protest that this was not indicated on the website and returned the next day Sunday 14/07 to be told by the Canal walk shop manager that I need proof of address... I express my disappointment as I already came the previous day and had to return for my passport. The manager no nothing about the product the shelf display does not indicate which package has which product etc. The manager cannot locate the product I would like to buy and I leave because it is either not in stock or cannot be located. This is totally unacceptable and a waste of my time to have gone to the shop, way out of my way 2 times... for nothing.
Perhaps Orange has taken the wrong partner to promote its product, I had hoped it would be able to bring innovative and fresh product to the cell phone ma
