After a nasty R15, 000.00 surprise using my cell phone overseas last year, I decided to buy a French Sim Card and service for my cell phone for France this year. I found Orange SA on line and purchased a holiday pack for less than R500.00. It was the best decision that I could have made.
I registered my Sim with Orange and got a cell number before leaving, swopped sims on arrival at CDG airport in Paris and was instantly connected to the Orange network. I was able to use the map on my cell phone to get out of the airport and navigate to Strasbourg. 2 phone calls home, going on the internet daily and navigating for 2 weeks cost me EUR33.00. I used free wifi on my Ipad for emails.
Orange SA is a pleasure to deal with. My purchase was delivered to my home by courier within days and my queries by phone and emails were answered courteously and efficiently. They are highly recommended.
