MTN was contacted on 13/5/2013 to cancel the 3G contract. I was given a reference # 100047170. The contact person Mgotshu said the contract would be cancelled from 16th June 2013. On the 1st July the money was withdrawn by MTN on the 1st July. On the 13th I received an sms from MTN that " the contract has been resubscribed to the recurring 75Meg internet". MTN was asked to cancel the contract and not reinstate it. I received a sms from the bank indicating the money had been paid to MTN, I then called MTN on the 3rd and was assured that according to the system, the contract has been cancelled. Clearly it has not been cancelled.
MTN are underhanded and useless. I want nothing more to do with MTN
