STAY AWAY FROM ADT!!!
After a nightmare of just trying to cancel my contract with ADT (because I was fed-up with their useless service) I wrote to HelloPeter about my issues. I got a reply from ADT and I was told that I need to pay a cancellation fee in order to cancel the contract. This I did and sent through all the documentation and the proof of payment. I was then informed by Bongisani Ndlovu that my contract was cancelled.
I have today received an SMS to say that my account is going to be debited for my monthly subscription, this 3 months after I already cancelled. When I called in I was informed by the agent that my contract was in fact not cancelled and is still active on the system.
I have no words left to describe how absolutely useless ADT are. I will be cancelling my company contract with them as well.
Whatever you do, stay away from ADT!
