I ordered a new phone (was on prepaid) and a tablet. I advised Nelson that I live in a remote area, but was assured if my current phone worked I would receive service. I was not told I would loose my prepaid airtime, when i was approved. Shocked to find out i lost R70.00 odd. Even more shocking was I could not use the phone or tablet at home. I had to get in my car and drive up the hill. I returned both within 7 days and cancelled my contract. I was told by the call centre this was within my rights. I am still waiting for Nashua to put my phone back on prepaid. They say they cant cancel part way through a month!!
At no time was I given any paperwork.
When i collected the tablet another salesman in Pietermartizburg persuaded me to by his second hand cover for cash, as he wanted to buy the cover with a keyboard.
Despite numerous calls I am still waiting to get my phone back on to prepaid.
They now say I have to speak to head office. I told Nelson he must get head office to phone me, but i am not holding my breath. Maybe this will prompt some action.
