R1841 for 1 GB of data, are you mad?

Yesterday I received my upgrade, the Samsung S4. I insert the new sim card, go through the motions of setting up the phone and voila. What I didn't know if that the phone now syncs with my tablet and starts downloading the apps that are on the tablet to the phone. WHAT??? So now my phone has used 1.3GB of data and I have had the phone for 10 minutes... I get an SMS from Nashua saying that my phone has now been soft blocked as my charges are currently R1841. I call Nashua Mobile as I am sure there must be a mistake to find out, sorry Mam that is the charge and there is nothing they can do. What I would like to know is how do you justify charging R1841 for 1.3 GB of data when a 2GB contract costs me R150??? This is daylight!! I want answers!! How many people are being ripped off daily??
