I took a contract with cell c in 2009, fell behind on payments in 2010 as I was unemploye bt managed 2catch up n settle this account in Feb 2011 as I has since found a Job. A gentleman by the name of Sidefree Valoyi handled my case and he sent me a settlement letter. I never heard anything from cell C after that until I received an sms on 24 June 13 stating: H NGOBOZANA NOTICE: HANDOVER OF Cell C ACC 01428412 FOR DEBT COLLECTION TO Pholosa. CALL 011 317 4308. R1, 513.14 DUE 06JUN13. I then called pholosa they said to mail them the letter which I did and they sent me sms 2say ur query has been acknowledged, that was 10days ao. I wanna know what I owe cell c for and why this is only surfacing now after almost 2years of silence. I worked 4 cell C frm March 2011-Jan 2012 why wud they hire me if I owed them this alleged amount and why is it that when I checked my account on the system it had a closing balance o R0.00 n nw miraculously I ower 1.513 for a contract that ended Eons ago. I want answers infact I want this matter sorted out pronto, its messing with muu credit record, I'm not paying for I know nothing about.
