Contract Cheating!!!

Last year July, I visited Vodacom East Rand Mall for a contract packages. Despite their beyond pathetic service of waiting 30 min to be assisted, I explained to the Sales Consultant that we only want to take out a contract package but I do not need a cellphone. I clearly asked him several times if this could be a month to month contract because I do not want a binding contract for 24 months. He said it won't be a problem. In the middle of December I phoned Vodacom to give my notice of Cancellation, just to be told that we can not cancel a 24 month contract. With a long dispute I went to Vodacom to query the situation and there no one could assist me!!
I've been to the shop several times and all they can say is that they waiting for the paper work to be sent from head office. It's been a month and still no feedback to the situation.
This is so frustration and embarrassing to be fighting for someone to just assist you and all you get is "I DON'T KNOW!!!
They don't listen to what you are asking and saying and all i'm doing at the moment is running around in circles and getting more frustrated.

I will never support Vodacom in my life again!!!
