Getting 30-40 unwanted "please call me" per day

For the past 3 weeks or so I have been getting between 30 and 40 "please call me" messages per day. None of the numbers are known to me and I have no idea how to stop it. In a few of the cases the "please call me" is from the same number 2 or 3 times, but in 90% of the cases it's from different numbers.

I'm not sure if there is a routing problem somewhere in Vodacom's system or if they somehow published my number somewhere they shouldn't have, but this is getting incredibly irritating. I have phoned Vodacom, but they want me to do a police affidavit then they will investigate.

How can this be possible that I have to go through this trouble for something I never wanted. Do they seriously expect me to do 300 different affidavits so they can investigate each of these numbers? Can something not be done about this, since I am after all paying for this service.

Please don't tell me I must get another number either, I'm not about to change a number I have had for how many years. If Vodacom is not willing to do something about this I'll be forced to move my business elsewhere when my contract expires.
