On Tuesday the 2nd July I went to MTN Fourways crossing to transfer my number from a company onto my personal name. Irene helped me and told me that it would take 2-24hrs for the transfer to go through and then I could come and collect my new phone, she also said she would call me to collect.
After hearing nothing I called MTN again, Irene was on leave so I spoke with Thatho who informed me that I was given incorrect info and the transfer would take 2-48hours.
After 48 hours I called again and spoke to Lerato who told me the transfer had still not gone through. I am in desperate need of a phone as my old phone no longer works, I had to buy a cheap phone while waiting for MTN to get back to me. I then spoke to Lerato's supervisor who promised me he would sort it out and get back to me. He did not
The next day I called again and Lerato said her supervisor was out but promised me that she would get him to call me by 12h00. At 12h15 I called again and the supervisor could still not help me.
He promised to get back to me within 15 minutes to let me know what is going on. I have been promised many times that people will get back to me and they do not.
This is shocking service.
