Shocking lack of service/feedback!

After my phone fell in water, my insurance requested a damage report to determine repaires/replacement. Thinking that I would take it to the most reputable provider and also my service provider, I took it to MTN Randfontein (Microzone) on 03/01/2013. I was then explained that it could take between 2-6 weeks to obtain the damage report which I understood. I was then contacted on 11/01/2013 by Microzone to inform me that my phone has been returned & that all is in order. When I went to collect the phone & damage report the very same day I was then told there was a mistake, my phone & another phone was sent in for assessment & only the other phone was assessed, not mine. So both phones were sent back & mine not even touched! Today is now 12 working days later, I called the Repair call centre who confirmed that they have not received my phone since the last time it was returned to Microzone. I have followed up twice with Themba at Microzone who will only ask for my cell number & promise to call me back with feedback which does not materialise. I want to know is how long will it take to courier a simple phone from Randfontein to Midrand? I might as well have taken it to Midrand myself!!
