No update on repair Telkom ducking and diving

When I got home last Friday afternoon, my phone was dead. I reported it and was very pleased to receive an SMS on Saturday afternoon that it was in the hand of the Tech and minutes later he arrived. He checked my line and mentioned there was a new installation next door on Friday and he would go and check the box and come back. He returned a few minutes later and said he would have to come back on Sunday.
Never heard from or seen a Tech since then. Been phoning every day and only answer I get is that its in hand of the Techs and they would mark it as very urgent. My suspicion is that they unintentionally took my line at the box and connected the new subscriber and don't have any lines available to reconnect me! So the Techs are unable to do anything and am avoiding me and just keeping silence, probably hoping I would cancel my line and the problem would go away.
I am a Computer Tech working from home and need to use the Internet constantly. I had to go and get a 3G modem to enable me to carry on working but the signal here is very bad and the internet painfully slow with it and I now have to pay double to have internet access and paying for a service I don't get!
