Telkom: telling you, wasting your time!

I'm trying to get a landline and ADSL line installed, today the 2nd technician came to the exchange to find the same issue as the 1st technician: there is no "spare" (whatever that means). The 1st tech came out on Friday 1st march and said the exchange will be fixed by Tuesday and then he can come back and install my line! That didn't/hasn't happened! 2nd tech came this morning to find there is still no "spare" and this must be put in before he can install the line. My question is why wasn't the "spare" installed after the 1st tech saw there wasn't one! So now there are 2 techs that know about it and nothing has been done, bet I will still have to deal with a 3rd, perhaps even a 4th before this issue is resolved and I have the line that I'm paying for! This must be fixed soon otherwise I want my R700 "deposit" back. I would love it if for once Telkom could do the job required of them the first time around! I've taken leave to be available for these technicians! And I have to take off work again on Friday so that I'm available for the technician. I would love to have it fixed on Friday (8th march) so that I don't have to take more days off work for this nonsense!
