On 27 january 2013 there was a lightning strike in my area. I logged the fault on the 28th that my adsl is not working. The tech was by my house on the 29th. He managedd to get the line working again but I had limited to no connectivity. So on he said that he will check the main exchange in town and let me know what is going on and if he can get the speed back to normal.
On the next day the internet was the same as before. Every now and then the internet is working and I cannect fine and on the speed that I am paying for. But that's only every now and again. So I phoned telkom again and the fault is still logged. The consultant told me that it is an mweb line and that I should contact mweb so they can contact telkom.
After contacting mweb I was told the fault will be logged again and that a tech will be by my house to get everything going again.
The tech never came. The internet was working fine again but disconnected every now and again. Today on the 5th of feb 2013 when I got home at about 7pm the adsl was down again and still is. This is poor service from mweb and telkom for not attending to the fault that's still logged and last updated on the 29th of jan.182CVK280113 ref no
