After ordering a Samsung S4 from MTN in Lambton Germiston, my brother waited over a week to recieve his new phone after him and I had been there multiple times. On the 2 July we were told that the phone had arrived and when he got to the store before 6pm they had already logged off their systems and could not give him the phone, when the working times in the shop window state that they are open until 6pm. I then took the correct documents with me and collected him phone on the 3rd July only to find out that they had not activated anything and he is still waiting today (4th July) for them to RICA the phone.
He is paying for a phone that he is unable to use and has complained to them multiple times now. After recieving his phone yesterday he actually regrets opening the contract with MTN. And I personally won't do business with any MTN branch after this.
