I had received the Samsung S4 and dropped it out of my hand on Friday. This caused the screen / electronics to be damaged. I took my phone in on Saturday to the Vodacare store in Voortrekker street and was told I will get my phone by Tuesday (2013/07/02) as it is a new phone they do not have any parts in the store.
I handed the phone in, didn't complete in any forms and it was confirmed that it will be under warranty as per the 2 repairs you get from Samsung. I received an SMS yesterday stating that I can collect my phone.
Upon receiving it I had asked one of the sales people on the floor for a glossy screen protector and not the hardish more blur one as I do not know what make or type it is I asked for his assistance. He places it on the screen and it was not what I requested for it was the wrong screen cover. I requested him to take it off and left the branch.
On my arrival at home I inserted my SIM card and noticed that the left menu button is not working. I had to travel back to the store again and then get told again that they don't have parts because its a new phone. I had to rebook my cellphone and all of a sudden had to complete 5 forms about of which I refused.
