I've lost my cellphone on 26 December 2012, did a sim swap at Mooiriver Mall branch and told them what happend on the 27th. I got the police case number on the 28th and did the documentation with cell c the same day. I had no response or contact from Cell since the time the claim has been lodged. I followed up twice with no satisfaction. On my 3rd follow up at the branch I've been told that Cell c will not honor my claim because at the time of the incident which was around 11-12 o'clock the contract sim was not in the contract phone. This is not true i am going to contact the the ombutsman to do an investigation in this matter. My contract with cell c is around 6 years old spend between R450 and R600 every month never missed a payment never had a claim.
