General bad service

1 In April Gosi from MTN direct made certain promises about an early upgrade that was never honoured.
2 I called the 808 number to confirm my update several times. It confirmed it was 1 July 2013. When my husband called the SAME number on Friday to get permission to update 2 days early the lady told him it was 1 August. After a debate she eventually gave him the authorization number. How can the same system give different answers to the same update date. Waste of time and money
3 It is now 48 hours later and still my sim is not active. This is not the first time. Two years back I had the same problem with this number when I upgraded to my first IPhone. I also had the problem with 0738034098. You can check your record my complaints will still be there.
4 I have two uncapped packages with MTN that is due for an upgrade but apparently MTN doesnt offer this package anymore. I would like to upgrade to a wireless router but have to pay around R800
Maybe I have to consider cancelling this contract and take up a contract with Vodacom? My husband are with them and never have this silly issues with them.
