Trying to undertake a simple sim swap for 1 month now. First went to MTNSP in morningside, where I was told they had no stock of micro sim cards. I went to several other stores who gave the same excuse. Vodacom store had the same issue. 4 weeks later, went to store in Eastgate mall and queued for over half hour, only to be told that they are offline and cannot asisst. Went home and decided to call the store later to find out if they were online, but could not find the number on the MTN website, as the store locator was not working. Called 808, and had to answer several security questions just to ask for a number for a store. Was put on hold for 9 minutes, in which time I had already got in my car and was driving to the mall. The call centre operator confirmed that they were online. On reaching the store, was told they still offline. Gave up. tried the following day again and was asiisted promptly, and told it would take up to 24 hours to activate. 24 hours later, no activation. Called 808. operator mentioned that there was no sign of a sim swap that was supposed to happen, and that I need to contact the store. Called the store, where i was told to come back in. SO PATHETIC
