I took out insurance on my iphone 4s in case of, damage etc through Cell sure about 3 months ago. i got confirmation that if the damage was more then the cost of a new phone, that my phone would be replaced which is the case. Then i get told that the agent that gave me the quote for my phone underinsured my phone by R700 meaning that i would need to pay the excess of R700 (10% of the insured value of R7000 and the additional R700 that the phone was underinsured for as well as other fine print admin costs that they have thrown in. Resulting in me (after having taken out insurance for "peace of mind" as you quote on your website) being R1500 out of pocket to have the same phone. What is the point of taking out insurance. You have messed with the wrong customer here as i am well versed with my rights in terms of the CPA. I have made a detailed complaint to the commissioner regarding your unlawful actions. I will ensure that you people receive a hefty fine. if i had it my way you'll receive the maximum 10% gross revenue fine, cutting any profits you wish to have had.
you wonder why people don't trust insurance companies. Because of like this
