Absolute disgrace

We've had a problem on our 2MB ADSL line for approximately 5 -6 weeks now. The output speed on our end hovers between 256kb and 388 kb. I've been in contact with Telkom indirectly through Axxess (who manages my ADSL line for me), and directly via numerous telephonic calls to a number of operators. I've had about 5 or 6 different reference numbers, most of them escalated, then promptly closed again without a word from Telkom or anything having been done about the actual problem. When we have had someone come to our house in the past, they usually rock up without notifying anyone, and usually this means nobody's home to let them in. On Friday (21/06/2013) a guy named 'Alfredo' called me from Telkom and assured me someone would come to our premises over the weekend to look at the problem - needless to say I waited and nothing happened. I have never had such displeasure dealing with such a group of uncaring, incompetent, unambitious halfwits in all my life.
