My wife took out a MTN Data contract on 5th january 29013 with the intention of registering a MTN email address. For some reason I cannot register on the site, continually indicates registration failed. ( time of of 10 the one time password sent through does not work or the system does not accept thhis. I have spent hours and used up a lot of data trying to do something that should take 2 minutes to complete. I have raised this with Northgate MTN whose technical chap Martin tried and failed, he reported this to someone at MTN. I have phoned MTN, all you get is please hold and never get through to anyone who can assist. Martin at Northgate informed me that they had told him that as it is a 081 number the system cannot register the number (strange that) This will result in a cancellation of cobntract without predjudice if not sorted out. I am not impressed with MTN's ability to provide clear reasons, siolve problems and last of all lack of customer care.
