I have moved from Telkom over to Afrihost, due to bad service levels on my personal home internet.
At first I was very happy with my move, but until I took my business with Afrihost further, only then I realized that they were actually not better than Telkom in support.
I have a MS SQL website, which is hosted by Afrihost.
It is running on a shared server, through them. Its still a new website, but with it being a MS host. I dont have access to my database.
Upon first when I took out the hosting service, Afrihost told me, they will suppord and help upload. No matter what...
But it was all a lie. My developers dont have access to the database to update. We need to a table to the databse. a *.sql file... And Afrihost, just refuses to assist. Its 1 file? Previously they helped me, not they refused, I spoke to several people. And just no support.
The outcome of this complaint, will also make a decision for me, if I need to look for another company, with better support.
I will update accordingly, about this complaint.
