I took my phone in to the Vodacom World in Midrand on Sunday Afternoon (16th of June 2013) as the track pad decided to malfunction. I was helped by a very friendly and helpful consultant who explained the process to me. Within a hour I got a SMS from Vodacom stating that my phone was in for assessment, the following day i got a sms stating that it is going to the Advanced Repair Center.
I then called to speak to a consultant and he explained to me that my phone cannot be repaired under warranty and will thus be exchanged by Blackberry.
Today is the 20th of June and I just got my new (refurbished) phone - within 3 working days AND Monday was a public holiday - I am pleasantly surprised and satisfied.
I just want to thank Vodacom for there speedy and great customer service.
