As usual the big guys don't care about the little guys.
With such a tough economic climate currently and with the inflation rate in South Africa it is not easy to make ends meat. The cost of data especially if you do not have a data bundle is very expensive, hence I make a concerted effort to insure that I only use lots of data on my cellphone when I am in a wifi zone. But last night I made a big mistake, i had inadvertently turned my wifi off and I proceeded to upload 1.9 gigs of photos and videos from my phone to my dropbox account!
I woke up in the morning and glanced at my phone I knew I was in big trouble. I phoned the customer care line and pleaded to purchase a data bundle to get a better rate and their reply was that they had already billed it and the best they can do is a payment plan. I dont see how a payment plan can help me? I sit with a bill of R2800.00!! Please can someone with a heart help me, by allowing me to purchase a data bundle that will reduce the rate per MB.. I cannot believe that they cannot help a customer and accommodate someone in this situation. We are all human and this just feels like im being strong armed, it just feels wrong... Can anyone help?
