I hosted 2 VPS servers with Web Africa and to say the least, their performance was horrible. Well, the performance was horrible when the service was online.
I cancelled my VPS's with them due to reliability.
One day, i decided to put them to the test again. i chose to host 2 domains with them.
I chose a domain that was already in existence, and then one that i actually wanted (unregistered according to COZA)
They billed me for the one in existence without even so much as a whisper that the domain was already registered. They then billed me for the one i wanted, and to this date, it remains open for registration. A WEEK LATER!!! Yet according to my services panel, they service is active and ready to be used! Really??
i took to twitter in anger, at which point Web Africa DM'd me to get my customer code. They tried once to call me. ONCE. And then they went quiet. What about the domain that remains open for registration?? What if that domain was to be a source of income to feed my family? They dont care about their customers or service.
i dont want my money or anything from them! But the public deserves to know the truth before they make the mistake of doing business with WA
