Domain not registered and told it was

I feel it is only fair that Oryx customers be aware of the mistake that was made to me when I used their services to register a domain and purchase services from them. Between the time I ordered and paid for the domain someone else had registered and it was no longer available. Fair enough, however Oryx accepted my payment and proceeded to invoice me. Seven months later when I go to use the domain I have been paying for, I discover I cannot use it. I have in the mean time set up a business around my domain expending money on graphics, a web design, printing and advertising. My fledgling business that I have been working so hard on is compromised. those of you who have started something will know the emotions that go into getting something off the ground. What have Oryx offered me... R1200 that they have charged me for the services I did not get and a promise to fix their systems. They should be made to understand their responsibility as an ISP and the impact to business and the damage it does to a small business who is trying to compeat in the digital era
