INCORRECT BILLING

My wife and i travelled through Namibia From 01 May 2013 to 15 May 2013. During our stay i made and received almost twenty calls and i downloaded data from my cellphone onto my laptop (almost 50 minutes).
When i came back in South Africa i received a bill of R8700.00 from MTN. When i questioned the bill, MTN said that my roaming data was on throughout our stay in Namibia and my cell constantly downloaded data, whether i was aware of it or whether it was data that i did not want to be downloaded.
During one particular day my phone downloaded data from 06h00 the morning to 12h00 that evening. What is shocking is the fact that my phone did not show this data while i was in Namibia.
