No contract agreement yet that charge us for breac

We did not renew our Telkom contract because of being without service various time and the last time 5 days. When we applied only to go on with the telephone (and not the internet) they put a debit on our account Contract Forfeiture CT000804235 Penalty rules contract forfeit R1, 368.17. How can they do that if we never renewed our contract after it expired? We never signed a new contract.
