On Friday morning went into the Discovery Sandton Cell C branch to purchase a 3G, for work purposes, before doing this the consultant confirmed with me that there is great coverage in my area and that I will not experience any problems with regard to connection. Keeping this in mind I bought the device. I went home the exact same day and logged onto my Desktop and not long after that, lost connection. I then tried Monday morning again and the same connection failure took place. I came into work and spoke to the manager Janice and I said I would like to cancel the contract as this is not working for me, not even 1 day and the device is faulty. She said there is a process to follow, since then I have been hounding her, via emails and follow up calls. She logged a request to the service team, without attaching the complaint and nature of the error I experienced, I brought this to her attention. I kept making calls, this from Monday, today is Wednesday and nothing has since been done. I am appalled by the overall service of the Cell C staff, they are so blase and attach no sense of urgency to their clients to ensure customer satisfaction, furthermore as I as client need to follow up.
