My cell number given to someone else

This afternoon I started getting a message saying that I am not registered on the network every time I tried to make a call. I then tried to call my number and got through to a lady named Thelma Troskie who advises that she had a 081 number but was having trouble with it and the Fourways branch of 8.ta did a sim swop and gave her this number. She advises that she has been getting calls all afternoon from people looking for me. I have contacted the 8.ta call centre who want me to go out and buy a new sim card so that they can do a sim swop. I have a Galaxy S3, which takes the miniature sim card, so they say I will have to then take it in to a store for them to cut it to size. Why must I do the running around when they are the one's who, I am leaving on business at 4am and need my service restored NOW!!! Why don't they send someone out to me to sort out the mess that they have created. What is going to happen to my account? What if Thelma Troskie has been phoning all over the show running up a big bill? It is now 10pm I am tired and need to get to sleep in order to be awake at 4am, but need this mess sorted out first, which these incompetent people aren't doing.
