Complaint / review / scam report
I applied online for a vodacom contract. Vodacom direct then called me back. I did not qualify for the contract I had in mind but was offered a different one. I asked vodacom not to proceed just yet. I then appllied at a game store for the same contract I was offered, much better deal. They could not proceed my application at game due to the application at vodacom direct (I guess they use the same system). I contacted customer care and was transferred from the one operator to the next. After getting very frustrated the operator hung up on me, this call was R60 airtime worth further. Today 20 December 2013 I thought I would try again. Spoke to a operator Gizelle and was promised the problem would be sorted within the next 30mins. Off to Game I went hours after my last call to vodacom to find out NOTHING has been done and I can not proceed my application at game. This has been going on for days now and is HIGHLY unacceptable. I mean its Christmas time, I can not spend half my time and airtime on vodacom! I am not even I client yet and this is the service I am getting. This is very very very poor and unexpected from a mobile network like vodacom!
