This is not my first complaint against Telkom, which is quite ironic because they really impressed me about right this time a year ago. So here goes:
I ordered an ADSL line 4 months ago, and haven't received any follow up call or anything. I have received 4 bills and a final notice that states that I should pay my outstanding account for ADSL I haven't yet received. I have called 10210 and I have been to 3 Telkom Direct Stores. 2 of them were helpful, the other one in Hatfield was just rude and not worth the petrol money. I just found out that they have no intention of replacing the '' copper-cables, and that I can't have ADSL installed in my area. This is quite funny, as Waterkloof is 1 of 4 areas that you can get their new ADSL Elite lines that offer much higher speeds.
I already have a non-functional line in my house. Someones just needs to press some kind of button to activate it so that I can call Mweb and get proper service from a company that cares about their customers. I have spent way too much time and money driving around in search of some Telkom store.
Would really appreciate it if someones could help me.
