I have a problem with my phone as the Mcafee anti virus has blocked my phone, i went to the vodacom customer care repair section to have them look at the phone and perhaps reboot it for me. They told me that they can't assist me as i need to bring the box of the phone. Like really, the phone is new, couldn't they pick up my details by using my ID number or IMEI number. When i asked the consultant he simply said sorry he can't assist me and the only way they can assist me is when i bring the box of the phone. I've owned many phones before and i never had to take a box in order for the phone to be fixed. So what they are saying is that if u lose the box, u r. On top of that they tell me that i need to pay R250 because it's my own negligents that the phone is blocked, is that how Vodacom staff are trained to go around telling their client's that they are negligent. I was warned to change service providers before i did the upgrade as i had numerous complaints with vodacom but this one is a final nail in the coffin.
