I took out a contract with 8ta in march 2012. They had confirmed I had coverage where I lived but there was none. I then cancelled within the 7 day cooling off period. A courier picked up my sim card. They then continued to bill me for a few months until I made a Hellopeter complaint and then they refunded the debits with big apologies, personal calls etc and the assurance that everything was tied up with the contract. Yesterday I went to an 8ta store to buy a prepaid sim to be told that there is still R1580 owing on the old contract!
