In Jan 2013 I received an sms from FNB with a promotion offer on a data special for my IPad. The special was R99.00 for 2 Gig data. I had to reply "yes" if I was interested and they phoned me to explain me the detail of the promotion and one of the questions was; "Do you want to cap the account on 2 GIG or can it flow over at a cost". My reply was to cap the account at 2 gig.

In Feb 13 I receive an account of. R630.71. I contacted the call centre and explained my problem and asked them to listen to the tape recordings. This was not my problem an i cant be kept responsible for the mistake. I will pay the R99.00, but not the rest. My account was blocked because i did not pay.

In Mar 13 I received another bill for R422.58, still the problem was not rectified. I phone again and was tranfered from one person to another. During this period they cap the account correctly by did not say any thing about the wrong account. They undertook to listen to the tapes and will give me feedback.

In Apr 13, i received a bill with the correct cap amount of R98.99 for Apr 13, but the previous account of R1053.29 was not corrected. So my account is still suspended. No joy.
