I had 3xcontracts with 8ta that were due for upgrades, 2x blackberry phones with BIS and one normal. On 1st June I requested the one blackberry to be upgraded to a samsung s4 and the other blackberry and normal contract to be cancelled, i then took a new 1.5gig promo contract with a samsung tablet. This was done at the clearwater store. On 3rd June I went to the store and picked up the new phone and tablet. On 1st July I realised that the other two contracts weren't cancelled as requested. I phoned the call centre and were advised that it wasn't cancelled and it will only be cancelled at end of July after my telephonic request. I was billed at the end of July for 3 x Blackberry BIS Services (which I never had), 2 x contracts (I only had 1 normal contract) and the new samsung and tablet.there were pro rata costs for the tablet as well. I phoned the call centre and received reference no 6399279 from Fikile. I never received any feedback after this. My bill for July is for R2396.16 which I didn't pay as I was still querying the account and the charges. Yesterday my service was suspended because it wasn't paid. I phoned and were advised that I was charged AGAIN for BIS.the whole acc is a mess.
