My wife upgraded her phone to a new S3 mini and within 2 weeks the screen stopped working. I took it into the MTN repair centre and booked it in for a warranty assessment which I was told would take a week. After 2 weeks I went back and was told that the assessment had not started because I had not supplied the proof of purchase (which I was never told to do). I sent it through to the email address provided the following working but to date I have received no feedback and have no phone. I received no response on my mail and the number provided just rings.
This is completely unacceptable. I had to follow-up to find out what was happening and since providing MTN with the required documentation I have heard nothing, the number for the service centre is engaged and the number I was given just rings. How can you hold onto a phone for a month without providing any feedback?
